Peter Duggan, grew up in Kingston, Jamaica where he learned soccer early and well in Grants Pen/Shortwood. He went to the famed Central Branch Primary School playing box ball and earned the privilege to play on the asphalt pitch. He attended St. Andrew Technical High School and Excelsior High School representing both in Manning Cup. He was selected to the All Manning team in 1977 and went on to become a member of the Cavaliers Football Club, played in the Major and National League from 1979-1981.
He migrated to the United states of America in 1981 and in 1982 was offered a scholarship to attend University of Maryland where he was an honorable mention All-American in 1983. Peter was also selected to an All-Regional college team competing against touring Dutch Nationals in Spring 1986. He also played on the legendary Jamaica National team in Washington DC and the famous Mandela United in the Bronx League. Currently he is Owner/Managing Director of Coaching for the Santos FC/FC Columbus youth club and NPSL team since 1995, His extensive local, regional, collegiate and professional soccer contacts have helped numerous High School graduates become the best expression of themselves, some of whom went on to play at the collegiate level. Peter joyfully shares his knowledge, experience, and zen-like temperament with youth of all ages.
